LLOYD, N. Y. -- A 43-year-old Poughkeepsie man is facing a drug charge after police found him with crack cocaine during an investigation of a domestic dispute between him and a female friend while they were in a car on State Route 44/55 in Lloyd, New York State Police said.
Kelly Robinson is charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, police said. He was arraigned in Plattekill and held in Ulster County Jail on $500 bail, police said.
Officers were alerted to the dispute when the female friend flagged them down, then they found the cocaine during a roadside investigation, police said. He's due back in court at 3 p.m. June 9 in Lloyd Town Court, police said.
