Poughkeepsie Man, 54, Busted With Stolen Gun, Drugs, Money, Police Say

A Poughkeepsie man is behind bars following a search of his home after neighbors complained of illegal drug activity taking place at the Corlies Avenue residence, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department Neighborhood Recovery Unit.

Timothy M. Tillery, 54, was arrested on Friday after the Recovery Unit, along with the Emergency Services Unit, and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, executed a search warrant at 10 Flannery Ave., Apartment C, in the City of Poughkeepsie, said Sgt.Terrence Beam 

During the search, officers seized 77 grams of cocaine, a stolen, loaded .380 caliber handgun, one vehicle, approximately $8,300 in cash and numerous articles used in the distribution of controlled substances, Beam said.

Tillery was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a weapon and felony possession of stolen property.

He is being held without bail at the Dutchess County Jail.
