The 16-year-old female student had a dispute with a group of students before the attacks, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark.

The student brought the bleach in a water bottle and sprayed numerous students during the attacks, Clark said.

None of the students sprayed were injured, and many did not want to cooperate with police, he added.

The student, who was arrested, was released on her own recognizance.

As a precaution, school officials have banned bottled drinks for the meantime at the school.

School officials did not return calls to determine if the student had been suspended.
