Police Seek Witnesses To Fatal Poughkeepsie Crash

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Police are seeking witnesses to a car crash that killed a pedestrian on Spackenkill Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie this past weekend.

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the car crash that killed Randall Housey. Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash.

Randall Housey, 48, died about 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, after being hit near Millbank Road, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

The Poughkeepsie Journal has identified the driver of the car as a 76-year-old woman from Wappinger. Authorities did not say whether she would face any criminal charges in connection to the crash.

Investigators are looking to speak with "anyone who may have been in the area near the time of the crash," according to a police statement.
