One Injured In Three-Car Beacon Crash

BEACON, N.Y. -- One person was injured following a three-car crash Thursday at the intersection of Verplank Avenue and Willow Street, according to the Beacon Police Department.

The accident, which occurred around 8:11 a.m., was caused by the driver of one car who failed to yield the right away and plowed into two other vehicles, said Sgt. Thomas Figlia.

One person was slightly injured with minor neck pain and transported to the hospital, he added.

The area has been cleared and traffic is moving freely, he added.
