Jeremy T. Davis, 24, was arrested Thursday after an investigation into the victim's disclosure, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark.

On Monday the juvenile turned herself into the City of Poughkeepsie Police as having run away from a juvenile facility in Hawthrone about three months ago, Clark said.

While being interviewed, the girl told officers about the assault and sex trafficking, he added.

Following an investigation, detectives executed a search warrant on Thursday at 11E Charles St., where Davis lives.

During the search, he was arrested and charged with felony rape and felony promoting prostitution. He is being held pending his arraignment.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding what happened to the juvenile female over the past three months is continuing. Anyone with information on this is asked to call the City of Poughkeepsie Police at 451-7577.
