Man Caught With Heroin, Cocaine, Pills At Fishkill Motel

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Agents with the Dutchess County Drug Task Force nabbed a Fishkill man on heroin and cocaine charges on Tuesday, Feb. 2, while serving a search warrant at a local motel, according to task force officials.

Ryan S. Mayers, 26, was arrested after members of the task force moved in on a room at the Towne Inn on Route 9 following an investigation into drug dealing at that location, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator with the Dutchess County Drug Task Force.

Mayers was found to be in possession of one-half ounce of heroin, one-half ounce of cocaine, assorted pills, scales, and packaging materials, Tasciotti said.

Mayers was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

He is being held at the Dutchess County Jail.
