Michael Stewart, 50, of Niagara, was identified as the suspect in the burglaries and was apprehended without incident on Wednesday, said Lt. Lou Lucato.
In addition, Stewart was wanted on two active warrant out of Niagara for violation of his parole, Lucato added.
He was charged with felony grand larceny, felony burglary, falsifying business records, and possession of a controlled substance.
Stewart is being held at the Dutchess County Jail without bail. Additional charges are pending.
