An investigation into the crash that closed the Mid-Hudson Bridge for hours and killed a 90-year-old Poughkeepsie resident could take several weeks, according to the Town of Lloyd Police.

The crash, which occurred midspan around 10:40 a.m., Tuesday, happened after Arthur Scea, driving a 2003 Toyota SUV,  veered into the oncoming lane and hit a 2014 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Edward Skinner, a 58-year-old Cairo man, said Lt. James Janso.

The investigation is ongoing.
