Four New Poughkeepsie PD Officers Sworn In

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The City of Poughkeepsie welcomed four new police officers to the police department during a swearing-in ceremony on Friday, June 2, by Police Chief Tom Pape.

The new officers include Marina Roberti, Charles Mitchell, Andrew Shultz and Joseph Carbone.

“I am very pleased to have these four new officers sworn in today. They have been chosen from a very difficult selection process and come to our organization with great experience in law enforcement," said Pape. 

Mayor Rob Rolison also welcomed the new officers by saying they joined the ranks of a group of dedicated men and women: “It was my honor today to be present to see these four new officers sworn in as members of our police department. May they stay safe as they keep our city safe.” stated Rolison.
