Fishkill Man Charged With DWI In Wappinger

WAPPINGER, N.Y. -- A Fishkill man faces charges of driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over by state police on All Angels Hill Road in Wappinger, police said.

Patrick A. Pierre-Saint, 37, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 5, and charged with first-degree driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies, state police said.

Troopers who stopped Pierre-Saint said he was driving without his headlights on after sunset.

A subsequent investigation revealed that Pierre-Saint was intoxicated at the time of the stop, police said.

Pierre-Saint had a previous DWI-related conviction from an incident in 2015, police said.

He was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Justice Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail, police said.

Pierre-Saint is scheduled to appear in the Town of Wappinger Court on Thursday, Feb. 10, police said.
