Fishkill Dollar Tree Robbed By Man Brandishing Gun

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- New York State police are asking for the public's help in finding the man who robbed the Dollar Tree in the Village of Fishkill at gunpoint at 9 p.m. Thursday.

The unidentified male entered the store, located in the Shop-Rite Plaza at 738 Route 9, brandishing a weapon and demanding money, state police said. 

The suspect received an undetermined amount of cash, two cell phones and fled the store in an unknown direction, said state police.

The gunman is described as being a white male, 5-foot-9, with short white hair, weighing between 180-200 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue or dark colored pants, a navy blue pullover shirt and a black or blue jacket.
