DWI Crackdown Nets Dozens Of Arrests In Dutchess

DUTCHES COUNTY, N.Y. - More than 70 people were arrested during the holiday season as police in Dutchess County cracked down on impaired driving.

New York State Police and local police agencies were “out in full force” from Dec. 15 through Jan. 1, conducting a STOP-DWI holiday season crackdown enforcement effort that was funded by the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee and STOP-DWI Foundation for the fifth year in a row.

““Throughout the Holiday Enforcement Crackdown campaign Law Enforcement worked tirelessly, often in severe weather conditions including this extended cold snap, to assure safety for motorists and families on our roadways,” Dutchess County STOP-DWI Coordinator Williams Johnson stated.

“Once again their combined efforts resulted in an eye-opening number of arrests.  The commitment and coordinated efforts of our law enforcement partners reaffirms that if you choose to drive impaired by alcohol or drugs in Dutchess County there is a high probability you will be identified, apprehended, and prosecuted. It’s simply not worth the risk.”

In total, police made 72 arrests. Among those arrested include:

  • Kadem Boone, 21, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI & Resisting Arrest, both misdemeanors in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Heather-Jo Gunsch, 30, of Pleasant Valley was charged with DWI a felony in the Town of Poughkeepsie. The DWI was a felony due to her having a prior DWI related conviction within the previous ten years.
  • Antho Mancusi, 31, of LaGrange, was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Chance Horetz, 26, of Poughkeepsie, with DWAI Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, all misdemeanors in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Robert Turley, 22, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI, DWAI Combined Drugs and Alcohol and Resisting Arrest all misdemeanors in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Danielle Gilliard, 20, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI, BAC .08 percent or more & Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle all misdemeanors in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Joseph Craypa, 52, of Pawling, was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Christian Luckie, 36, of Carmel, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of Hyde Park.
  • Edward Midgley, 49, of Stormville, was charged with DWI, BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors as well as Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • James Conklin, 24,  of Staatsburg, was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • Robert Sage, 58, of Hyde Park, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Paul Paolozzi, 23, of Beekman, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Ricky Demers, 26, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • Jeffrey Stowe, 55, of Millbrook, was charged with DWI, Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more & Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th all misdemeanors in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Frank Pinos, 35, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of Wappinger.
  • Daniel Hickey, 30, of Wappinger was charged with DWI a misdemeanor in the Town of Wappinger.
  • Jennifer Gerardi, 42, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor in the Town of LaGrange.
  • Evelyn Diaz, 24, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more both misdemeanors in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Jaleesa Medley, 29, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Kyle Palmer, 26, of Hopewell Junction, was charged with DWI & Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd both misdemeanors after being involved in a property damage auto crash in the Town of LaGrange.
  • Morgan Delrosario, 20, of Pawling, was charged with DWI after being involved in a property damage auto crash in the Town of Pawling.
  • Ewdy Moya, 36, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana a violation in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Skylar Schimmel, 23, of Hyde Park, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of Hyde Park.
  • Vincent Abukosi, 33, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Barry Pelkey, 23, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Toni Schiavo-Petschko, 40, of Washingtonville, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both felonies in the City of Poughkeepsie. The charges were felonies due to her having a prior DWI related conviction within the prior ten years.
  • Donna Conciatori, 51, of Clarkstown, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Town of Wappinger.
  • Brian Myers, 22, of Copake, was charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana a misdemeanors in the Town of Red Hook.
  • Kea Blue, 38, of Hyde Park, was charged with DWI, BAC .08 percent or more & Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance all misdemeanors in the Town of Red Hook.
  • Nicolas Ellingsen, 33, of Tivoli, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th a misdemeanor in the Town of Red Hook.
  • Manuel Cho-Putal, 32, of Millerton, was charged with DWI, Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more & Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st all felonies as well as Operating without an Ignition Interlock Device a misdemeanor in the Village of Millerton.
  • Jose Pazmino, 37, of Millerton, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors in the Village of Millerton.
  • Christopher McGhee, 34, of Millerton, was Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd a misdemeanor in the Village of Millerton.
  • Christina Bookless, 48, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Ali Hedhili, 20, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor.
  • Elisa Sanchez, 36, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Justin Mercer, 29, of Beacon, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor.
  • Antho Olsey, 28, of Millerton, was charged with DWI & DWAI Drugs both misdemeanors.
  • Michael Dunlavy, 36, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Michael Phoenix, 26, of Millbrook, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Jose Santana Reina, 23, of New Windsor, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Franklin Pinos, 34, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • To Yerks, 25, of Hyde Park, was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Kathleen Otis, 53, of Staatsburg, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Leonardo Mendoza, 18, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Brett Walsh, 35, of Hyde Park, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Duane McQuay, 43, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • James McAvoy, 31, of Dover Plains, was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Henry Mateo Arias, 24, of Red Hook, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Elvis Taylor, 26, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI a misdemeanor.
  • Jason Waldron, 40, of Wingdale, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Saturnino Caal Lopez, 47, of Dover Plains, was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Elizabeth Garulli, 30, of Goshen, was charged with DWAI a violation.
  • Walter Myers, 33, of Hyde Park, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Linda Morton, 33, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Vincenzo Dellamedaglia, 23, of Carmel, was charged with DWI & BAC .08 percent or more both misdemeanors.
  • Darren Atkins, 56, of Beacon, was charged with DWAI Drugs a misdemeanor.
