Dutchess Man, 26, Charged With Unlicensed Operation In Route 9 Stop

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Dutchess County man was arrested on a traffic misdemeanor charge on Oct. 29.

Romeo J. Hibbert, 26, was allegedly observed committing a traffic violation on Rte. 9 by by Deputy Sheriff Jonathan Cihanek in the Town of Philipstown.

According to Putnam County Sheriff's Department, Hibbert held a revoked license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.

Hibbert was released after posting $250 cash bail pending an appearance in the Town of Philipstown Justice Court on Dec. 14.
