Dutchess County Drug Task Force members arrested a Beacon man and seized heroin and thousands of dollars in cash during a warrant search on Wednesday.
Agents with the task force executed the warrant at 9 Mead Ave., after receiving reports of drug sales taking place at the home, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the task force.
During the search, agents arrested David Bruno, 40, after finding more than a half-ounce of heroin, scales, and packaging materials. They also seized more than $3,000 in cash, said Tasciotti.
Bruno was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is being held without bail at the Dutchess County Jail. Additional charges may be pending, added Tasciotti.
The task force was assisted by City of Beacon Police Department.
