Car Crashes Into Pole In Pleasant Valley

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A woman escaped serious injury during a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Pleasant Valley, according to the New York State Police.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. when the woman lost control of her car at the intersection of West Road and Martin Road and hit a pole, said Trooper Melissa McMorris.

The woman was treated at the scene.
