BEACON, N.Y. -- A man was found dead Wednesday, Jan. 13, beneath the surface of an icy pool, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The man, described as "elderly," was found in the pool of a North Avenue home, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Beacon police did not release the man's identity Wednesday and the Dutchess County Medical Examiner's Office had not yet completed an autopsy report, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
