Beacon Man Pulled Over For Traffic Violation Charged With DWI

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A 27-year-old Beacon man is facing a felony charge after police pulled him over for a pair of traffic violations and found he had been driving drunk, according to state police.

Henry P. King, was stopped on Friday, Feb. 19, for failing to yield the right of way and speeding, according to state police.

Once troopers determined he was drunk, King was arrested and accused of felony driving while intoxicated, according to police. The charge was upgraded when troopers found that he had previously been convicted of DWI in 2014.

The 27-year-old was issued several tickets and later released without bail, according to police. He is to appear in Fishkill Town Court at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1.
