POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- William R. Manfredi, Jr., of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, Feb 6. He was 83.
Manfredi was born Sept. 30, 1933 in Poughkeepsie. He is the son of the late William R. and the late Carmela (Salamone) Manfredi Sr. He was the owner with his wife Mary of the William Manfredi Construction Corporation in Poughkeepsie and built many projects in the area from 1971 until his retirement in 1995. He also loved to golf, travel, fish and enjoyed woodworking .
He is survived by his wife: Mary Ann Manfredi of Poughkeepsie, his two sons and daughter in-laws William R. Manfredi III and Shari of Lagrangeville, Joseph Manfredi Sr. and Robin of Poughkeepsie, his daughter and son in-law Parris Brokaw and Keith of Lagrange, his twelve grandchildren Brittany, Tarren, Dylan, Jared, Joseph Jr., Jessica, Adam, James, Savannah, Alley, Lindsey and Keith. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren and his brother and sister-in-law Louis and Kay Manfreda.
The funeral will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
