BEACON, N.Y. -- Thomasina M. Virgadamo, of Beacon, died on Friday, March 31. She was 85.
Virgadamo was born in the Bronx on March 6, 1932, daughter of the late Thomas DeSalvo. She retired from General Electric, where she worked in the company’s collections department at their facility in Danbury. She had also worked for the Bank of New York as well as the Yorktown Pennysaver.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Virgadamo & his wife Karen of Cold Spring; three grandsons: Anthony Virgadamo (Stella) of Wappingers Falls, Thomas Virgadamo (Meghan) of Beacon, and Joseph Virgadamo (Laurissa) of Cold Spring; her great-grandchildren, Louisa, Leo, Antonia, and Magdalena.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
