FISHKILL, N.Y. – Stephen Tyler DiRubba, a lifelong area resident of Fishkill, died Tuesday, June 28. He was 26.

Born March 25, 1990, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Stephen B. and Wendy DiRubba.

He was a graduate of John Jay High School. He was a charming, funny, yet tortured soul, battling against an addiction he was unable to defeat. He enjoyed playing tennis, trained and received his black belt in karate and loved playing World of Warcraft. Like his family, he was an animal lover and adored all of their pets.

He is survived by his parents; sister Heather Pastorini and her husband Paul; grandparents Doroth Faucher, Rosemary and Louis DiRubba; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Roland Faucher.

Memorial donations can be made in his name to either the Phoenix House or the Dutchess County SPCA.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc.
