The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Friday to Dutchess residents regarding the residency of 53-year-old Troy Elting, who has moved to an address on North Clinton Street in Poughkeepsie.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Etling as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

He was arrested by the Poughkeepsie City Police Department and sentenced to 10 years probation in November that year. He remains under the jurisdiction of the Poughkeepsie City Police Department.
