Kane worked as a Field Service Engineer with Green Fan Company in Beacon until his retirement. He was also a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Wappingers Falls.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Kane-Leahy, and her husband, Dennis, of Maybrook; Margie Kane, of Newburgh; and Mary Kane-Hooker, and her husband, Mel, of Rio Rancho; his daughter-in-law, Adrienne Kane, of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Kristopher Kane; Sean, Alyssa and Dylan Leahy; and his cousin, Harry DeMaio.
He was predeceased by his wife, Grace E. Rotante; his son, Kevin Kane; his brother, John; and his sisters, Theresa, Margaret, and Catherine.
Family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., Wappingers Falls.
Funeral mass is 10 a.m. on Monday, March 7 at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton St., Wappingers Falls.
