BEACON, N.Y. -- Michael T. Durlacher, of Beacon, died Monday, Aug. 22. He was 84.
Born Feb. 23, 1932, in the Bronx, he was the son of Michael T. and Elizabeth K. Revell Durlacher Sr.
He retired in 1975 as a New York City police officer. He was the first police officer at Castle Point, as well as a police officer with the Village of Fishkill Police Department.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Michelle Durlacher of Titusville, Fla.; five grandchildren; several, brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Libby Funeral Home Inc., 55 Teller Ave., Beacon. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery.
