POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Margaret F. Seifts of Poughkeepsie died on April 1. She was 89.
Seifts was born on April 8, 1927 in Barrytown, to the late Stephen Fallon and Estella Schafer. She graduated from Krissler Institute for Business and worked as an office manager for Prudential, retiring on 1989. She was a member of the Alter Guilds with Christ Church, avid bingo player, reader, and most of all, gardening.
Survivors include, a daughter Catherine Thomas, grandchildren; Paulette Reynosa, Pamela Reynosa, Jason Reynosa and Jennifer Reynosa, great-granddaughters; Yasmine Reynosa and Arianna Fisher, grandson; Jamir and Jayden, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday, April 6, from 5-7 p.m. at Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home located at 39 S. Hamilton St. in Poughkeepsie. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 7, 10 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelist Church in Barrytown, with interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
