WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Margaret "Peggy" Bellino Cox of Wappingers Falls died on April 2. She was 70.
Cox was born in Pelham Bay Bronx, where she attended our Lady of Assumption Catholic School and graduated from Preston High School. She worked in the registrar's office of Marist College and as a student advisor for nearly 15 years.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Gerard A.; daughter Anne Marie and husband Jonathan Koster of Danbury, son Anthony and his wife Kristen, of Poughkeepsie, son Stephen and his wife Marci, of Fishkill, grandchildren Grace, Aidan, Tessa, Catie, Lily, and Zachary.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 6, from 1 - 3 and 6 - 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St. in Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 7 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, South Avenue in Poughkeepsie.
