FISHKILL, N.Y. – Katharine R. Hicks, of Fishkill, died Thursday, Jan. 7. She was 81.
Born April 29, 1934, in New York City to the late Lymas and Pearl Williams Robinson Sr., she worked for many years at New York Telephone, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and as the sergeant at arms for the New York City mayor’s office.
She is survived by her son Michael and his wife, Karen; brother Lyman Robins Jr., (Butchy); sister Thelma Price; four grandchildren; and her former husband, Herman Hicks.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Thursday at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St, Fishkill.
