WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Juanita Thomas, of Wappingers Falls, died on Wednesday, March 1. She was 82.
Daughter of the late Edward Collier and Annie May Robinson, Thomas was born on March 17, 1934 in Miami, Florida. She worked in administration for IBM until her retirement. She also enjoyed knitting and traveling.
Survivors include her children, Gail Williams (Ronald) of Newburgh, Natasha Powell of Wappingers Falls and Suzanne Messier (Richard) of Beacon; grandchildren, LaMont, Leah, Lynese, Angel, Malik, Darius, Robert and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Alicia, Emery, Jasmyn, Nadir, Nadiyah, Janell, Janiyah, Jaliyah and Navia; and great-great grandchildren, Roman and Maliyah.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 3:30 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2607 South Avenue in Wappingers Falls.
