POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Jerry Greenberg, of Poughkeepsie, died on Dec. 12. He was 81.
Greenberg was born in Brooklyn on March 4, 1935, the son of David and Bella Marcus Greenberg. He married Vicki Belfus on September 1, 1959, in Miami Beach, Florida. She survives at home.
Greenberg was employed by IBM at their Poughkeepsie location as a senior engineer. He was a member of Temple Beth-El in Poughkeepsie, the Poughkeepsie South Rotary Club and the Harding Club. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved photography, fixing computers and enjoyed cooking. As his family said, "Jerry could absolutely fix anything".
Survivors also include his son, Leonard (Barbara) Greenburg; his twin sister, Anita Mitchell; and his grandchildren, David & Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Temple Beth-El, 118 So. Grand Ave., Poughkeepsie, N.Y. 12601.
