POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Jeffrey R. Bell, of Poughkeepsie, died on Thursday, Dec. 8. He was 83.
He was born March 1, 1933 in Scanton, PA. He is the son of the late Robert Wheeler and the late Winifred (Wildoner) Bell. He served in the United States Army. He was employed by IBM Poughkeepsie as a Financial Manager retireing in 1993. He was a member of IBM Quarter Century Club. He loved to fish and he enjoyed sailing.
He is survived by his wife, Hope Ellen (Vunderink) Bell; and his brother, Gordon Bell.
The funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie.
