Jean M. Turcy Of Beacon, 74

BEACON, N.Y. -- Jean M. Turcy, a longtime resident of Beacon, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. She was 74.

She was born June 23, 1941, in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Calaluca Turcy.

She was a parishioner of St. Joachim – St. John the Evangelist Church. She was also a member of St. Rocco’s Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Turcy of Beacon; her brothers, Joseph Turcy and his wife, Beverly of Beacon, Michael Turcy and his wife, Maureen of Beacon and James Turcy of Sarasota, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow St., Beacon. Burial will follow at St. Joachim Cemetery in Beacon.

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 54, Beacon, NY 12508.

Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Peter T. and Patrick J. Halvey.
