FISHKILL, N.Y. – Jacqueline Doris Allen of Fishkill died on Friday, Dec. 30, in Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 80.
She was born in Rochester to the late June Wolfe Allen.
Allen later moved to Syracuse, where she lived until she moved to Dutchess County in 2004.
Allen worked as a vault teller for Marine Midland Bank / H.S.B.C. in Syracuse for 17 years before retiring in 1999.
A member of Fishkill Senior Citizens, she enjoyed playing Bingo and online poker.
Allen is survived by her partner and fiancé, Artley R. Conklin; her sons, Command Sgt. Maj. Marc Hickey (USA, Ret.), Robert Allen and his wife, Beth; daughter Melissa Allen; grandchildren, William Hickey, Patrick Hickey, Marc Hickey, Sean Hickey, Robert Allen, Kailea Allen, Aaron LaMontagne and his wife, Jade, Jolyn Allen, and Thomas Allen; and great-grandchildren Bredon Allen and Aaron LaMontagne, Jr.
Calling hours will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main St., Fishkill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
