POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Grace E. Steriti, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, July 16, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 91.
She was born in the Bronx on Sept. 16, 1924, to Joseph and Rose Kalister.
She was employed for over 25 years at the former Grand Union in Wappingers Falls. She loved traveling and playing dominoes with her friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Brown (Patrick), and son, Richard Steriti (Lynda); grandchildren, Danielle Salvatore (Richard), Lisa Manino (Anthony), Jason Steriti (Melissa); and great-grandchildren, Rachel Mannino, Michael Mannino, Nicholas Steriti, John Steriti, Luke Steriti and Armando Salvatore.
Her husband, Vincent James Steriti, died in 1986.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. Arrangements have been handled by the Delehanty Funeral Home, Wappingers Falls.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
