FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Elizabeth F. Munson, of Fishkill, died peacefully Aug. 16. She was 100. Born May 4, 1916, in New York City, she was the daughter of Francis and Florence Ungar Lang.
She was employed as a business office representative for New York Telephone Company in the Bronx for 22 years until her retirement in 1958 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She also was a member of the Hopewell Reformed Church, where she served on the Women’s Guild.
She is survived by her niece, Patricia Ryan; cousin, Father Bill Foley; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and many wonderful friends.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hopewell Reformed Church.
