POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Edward Badura, 95, of Poughkeepsie, died Oct. 7.
He was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Ashuelot, N.H., the son of Roch and Maria Badura. When he was 2, he went back to Poland, where he grew and was educated. He returned to the United States in the late 1940s.
He was employed for 32 years at IBM in Poughkeepsieas as an expediter and retired in 1983. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie and sang and played violin for the Golden Age Singers in Poughkeepsie.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor Jarosz.
Survivors include his sons, John E.(Teresa) Badura, James Badura and Thomas Badura; and granddaughter, Robyn Badura.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at 3 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
