Diana V. Gendron, 75, Of Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Diana V. Gendron, 75, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, Oct. 25.

She was born May 21, 1941, in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of the late John and Joan Madden. She graduated from Poughkeepsie High School and attended Krissler Business Institute.

She worked as a secretary at IBM for 10 years and then Dutchess County Mental Hygiene for 30 years before retiring at age 70. Family was everything to her, especially spending time with her grandchildren and watching their dance recitals. She loved traveling to Marco Island, Fla., New England and was as an avid aerobics enthusiast.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold Gendron; and two children; Deirdre Gendron, and Geoffrey Gendron and his wife Kimberly and their two children, Miranda and Molly.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Church, 15 North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
