She was born July 31, 1966, in the Bronx, to John and Cynthia Chambers.
For nearly 30 years she worked with the Department of State of New York State.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Grizzard; daughter, Genise Stephens; son, Elijah Grizzard; mother, Cynthia Chambers; and mother-in-law, Sarah Faircloth.
In addition, she is also survived by four sisters; and four brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25, 10 a.m. at Holy Light Pentecostal Church 33 S. Clover St., Poughkeepsie, NY.
