BEACON, N.Y. -- Corinne Ann Dickson, of Beacon, died on Wednesday, Dec. 7. She was 88.
Born Sept. 23, 1928 in Elmira, N.Y., she was the daughter of Vincent O'Herron and Mary E. Morrissey. She was a retired Correctional Officer with Fishkill Correctional Facility. She was a member of The Gadabouts of Fishkill, the only remaining original member of St. John's Exercise Program, a member of St. John's Seniors, Sisters of the Cornerstone, a member of St. Joachim's-St. John's Church, and a friend to all.
Survivors include: son, Gary J. and his husband Bruce Brown; her daughter, Ann and her wife Susan Kennedy; her brother, John "Jack" O'Herron and his wife Ceci. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy E. Dickson; her sister, Mary Ellen Coffey and her husband Richard; her brothers, Vincent and his wife Beverly O'Herron and Paul O'Herron.
Inurnment/burial will be held Monday, Dec. 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Rte 9, Fishkill. She will be laid to rest with her husband Roy in the Veterens section. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Joachim's-St. John's 31 Willow St. Beacon, N.Y. 12508.
