Constance J. Blaney, 78, Of Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Constance J. Blaney, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, Nov. 3. She was 78.

She was born June 29, 1938, in Brooklyn, to the late Bruno and the late Nancy (Bartholomeo) Costantino.

She was a member of American Legion Post 1302 Ladies Auxillary. She loved gardening, to travel, hike, read, music, dancing, go camping with family, the ocean and going on cruises.

She was predeceased by her husband, Cahill Blaney; and her children's father, John F. O'Keeffe.

She is survived by daughter, Maria O'Keeffe and her husband Keith Dombrowski; son, James T. O'Keeffe and his wife Angel; daughter, Antoinette I. Kaus and her husband Daniel; grandchildren, James R. O'Keeffe, Sullivan S. O'Keeffe, Aidan CJ O'Keeffe, Alanna M. O'Keeffe and Kayla I. Kaus; and sister, Grace.

Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Martin DePorres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
