Winning $1M Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The $1 million winner of Saturday's Powerball jackpot who bought the ticket in Westchester has not come forward, but that person won't remain anonymous for long, according to the New York Lottery.

A ticket purchased in Mount Vernon matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball.

The $2 Powerball ticket sold at the Estrella Minimarket in Mount Vernon was the second $1 million winner sold since the "roll-up" of the game began on June 14, said Lottery Spokeswoman Carolyn Hapeman.

According to Hapeman, anyone who wins $1 million or more in New York has to agree to release their identity before receiving the money.

No one won the jackpot of $356 million, Hapeman added.

The winning numbers were 20-24-26-35-49 with the Powerball 19. The Mount Vernon ticket had all five numbers but not the Powerball.
