The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Dutchess residents regarding the residency of 49-year-old Calvin Dallas, who has reported an address change from Hyde Park to a residence on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Dallas a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Dallas had sexual contact and intercourse with a 17-year-old girl in 2003. He was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual act the following year and sentenced to a term of between 42 months and seven years in state prison. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Poughkeepsie City Police Department.
