EAST FISHKILL,N.Y. -- Motorists are advised that a lane closure with alternating traffic on Route 52 between Fishkill Hook Road and Corporate Park Drive in the town of East Fishkill is expected to occur on Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.

The flow of traffic will be controlled by flaggers, and drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work-zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, particularly signs and flaggers. Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.

In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver's license.
