The first project, which began May 23, has forced the closure of Route 55 between Wisseman Road and Cunningham Drive in Union Vale, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal, which reported work crews in the area are replacing the bridge over Jackson Creek.

The detour set up in the area directs drivers to Route 82 and County Route 21 (East Noxon Road), said the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The second project, which involves a pair of bridge replacements, has closed Degarmo Road between Whites Bridge Lane in LaGrange and Overlook Golf Center in Poughkeepsie, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal, which added the detour is directing drivers to routes 44 and 55 and Burnett Boulevard.

The first project in Union Vale is scheduled for completion in mid-September while the work on the second project is set to be completed in November, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
