Road Closures Expected In Poughkeepsie For Trump Visit

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Residents and drivers should take note that beginning at 6 a.m., Sunday, April 17, the following roads will be closed in the City of Poughkeepsie to vehicular traffic due to a visit to the city by presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to the Poughkeepsie Police Department:

Main Street between Academy Street and Columbus Drive
Market Street between Church Street and Mill Street
Cannon Street will be limited to local traffic and closed at Market Street
Garden Street will be closed
Columbus Drive between Mansion Street and Mill Street will be closed

There also will be no parking beginning at 5 a.m on the following streets;

Main Street between Academy Street and Columbus Drive.
Market Street between Church Street and Mansion Street.

Trump is expected to speak at the Civic Center. Drivers should expect traffic delays and possible road closures throughout the day and evening hours.
