Mural Proposals Will Be Discussed In Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- What mural would you like to see in the City of Poughkeepsie?

The Poughkeepsie Alliance is inviting the public to view mural concepts and meet the artists for the Poughkeepsie Gateway Beautification mural project on Monday, July 31 at the Community Room at the Public Safety Building at 505 Main Street, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The mural will be at the Route 9 overpass near the Poughkeepsie Train Station.

Artists will have their ideas on display for the public to discuss and view. Community members must be present in order to vote on their favorite mural. Refreshments will be served.

The Poughkeepsie Gateway Beautification project is being funded by the Poughkeepsie Alliance with activities administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
