Dutchess Unemployment Rates Fall

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dutchess County continues to have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the region.

According to the State Department of Labor, Dutchess' unemployment rate was 4.1 percent in October, down from 4.3 percent in September. Last October, Dutchess' unemployment was also 4.1 percent.

Dutchess' unemployment rate is tied with Putnam and is lower than Westchester (4.4 percent), Rockland (4.3 percent) and Orange. (4.4 percent)
