County Adds New Member To Dutchess Centenarian Club

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Dover Senior Citizen Center had a full house Monday, Dec. 7 as Mary Summa celebrated her 100th birthday.

Mary Summa turned 100 Dec. 7 and received a proclamation from Joe Ryan, outreach coordinator the Dutchess County Office for the Aging.

A member of the center for 37 years, Summa was presented a proclamation from Joe Ryan, the outreach coordinator for the Dutchess County Office for the Aging, as well as County Executive Marc Molinari, honoring her as the newest member of the Dutchess Centenarian Club.

Summa enjoys staying social, dancing, and she still drives and teaches piano part-time to several young students.
