Rosario Curcio, 70, a former pizzeria owner in Millbrook, has been in the Dutchess County Jail without bail since the Oct. 3, shooting death of Lana Florio, 56, also of the town of Poughkeepsie.

During the arraignment, the judge set Curcio's bail at $2 million or $4 million bond.

The two dated for several years before breaking up a few week before the shooting at the club on the Salt Point Turnpike at 12:45 p.m., police said.

When officers arrived, they found Florio critically injured with a gunshot wound to the head. Florio was pronounced dead at the scene, Capt John Watterson said.

Curcio is scheduled to appear in court again Nov. 20.
