Wcbs Anchor Speaking At Mid-Hudson Civic Center MLK Breakfast

Maurice DuBois, a news anchor for WCBS-TV, will be the keynote speaker at the 27th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center on Friday, Jan. 19.

The breakfast, hosted by the nonprofit Catharine Street Community Center, will begin at 7:15 a.m. DuBois previously won the New York Association of Black Journalists’ Trailblazer Award.

Poughkeepsie High School seniors Hope Tangunu and Ayo Opuiyo will be honored for their commitment to academics and the community. Dutchess County Sheriff Butch Anderson and former Marist College President Dennis Murray will also be honored.
