WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. - Curvy Consignments Plus, recently voted Best Consignment Shop of the Hudson Valley, is inviting the community to come out and support its “Tree of Love” fundraiser to benefit Julie’s Cause - which helps those affected by cervical cancer.
“Many of us are celebrating the holidays without family and friends who have gone before us and this time of year is especially difficult,” said Cathy Meyer, owner of Curvy Consignments Plus. “The Tree of Love has been established as a special remembrance to those we miss and those we want to honor, especially during the holiday season. We invite our clients and the community to visit us, purchase an ornament for a donation of $1 or more, write your own sentiment on the back, and hang it on our “Tree of Love” for the holiday season.”
The event will be held at Curvy Consignments Plus, located at 1177 Route 9 South, in Wappingers Falls, now through Jan. 7, 2017. All donations go directly to Julie’s Cause.
Julie’s Cause provides local, true support and assistance for those who have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, or any HPV related cancer. Their local programs are designed to include patients as well as their families, all of whom are affected by the treatment and recovery from these diseases.
